STYLE FILE “The World’s Most Elegantly Dressed”: Another Addition to my Coffee Table Book Collection!

We were shopping at Westfield and I saw this little book shop. There was something about the title of this book that totally caught my attention, “The World’s Most Elegantly Dressed”. This book is the compilation of different profiles of the most influential designers of the world today and their views and opinions about style and elegance. Being stylish and elegant isn’t as easy as it sounds. Women who wear Oscar de la Renta gowns, Bvlgari Jewelry and Manolo Blahniks also need to have good manners, a sense of humor and an amazing character – that’s the definition of ELEGANCE to me! My favorite part of this book is when each of the designers is asked “WHAT MAKES A PERSON STYLISH?”

Through this inspirational phrases made me realized that some people are just gifted with STYLE!

For me I think it’s when someone’s looks at your outfit, character and bearing and you can see the admiration in their eyes.

Those distinguishing cheekbones and sexual stare made him one of the most famous male models in the world. Who wouldn’t get hard from that piercing look! Jon Kortajarena – 25 years old, born in Bilbao, Spain (he said that’s what makes him a hopeless romantic). Jon likes interior designing, cinema, photography and of course sunbathing (nude! I wish!).
His runway credentials include walking for Salvatore Ferragamo, Giorgio Armani, Bottega Veneta, Dolce&Gabbana, John Galliano and Chanel in Milan and Paris. He also worked on advertising campaigns like Just Cavalli, Versace, Lagerfeld, Diesel, H&M and Tom Ford.
I saw him in the movie “A Single Man” directed by Tom Ford. The movie was good. I loved the style of the movie – very classic but done in a modern way. If I was Colin Firth…I’d totally do him in the car, the phone booth or right outside the liquor store! I don’t care who’s watching! They can learn something!
